Description

This romantic country house welcomes you in Zedelgem - Veldegem. For couples it's a lovely retreat where you can enjoy cozy togetherness but also be well connected to explore Bruges and the Belgian coast.

You can start with the bicycles available in the house. You can discover the area on the many cycle paths and cycle to Bruges in just one hour (10 km). The next supermarket is only 500 m away, the next town center and a shopping center approx. 1 km. The house is also easily accessible by car via the E403.

The bright and tastefully furnished house has every comfort. Heating is via electric radiators, an additional free-standing gas heater and a cot can be provided on request. Please remember to switch off the electric radiators when leaving the house. You can park by the house on the cobblestones.

Die kleine Ferienwohnung liegt etwas zurückversetzt von der Straße neben dem sehr schönen Wohnhaus der Vermieter. Schönes Ensemble mit gepflasterten Innenhof und PKW-Stellplatz direkt anbei. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr freundlich. Die Anbindung an Brügge ist hervorragend; mit dem Auto unter 10 Minuten, mit dem Fahrrad eine habe Stunde oder per Bahn ( von uns mehrfach genutzt / 20 Minuten Fußweg, dann 8 Minuten Bahnfahrt). Auch die Region lässt sich gut erschließen.

Die Ferienwohnung selbst entspricht zwar der Beschreibung / dem Video ... ist jedoch arg in die Jahre gekommen. Außerdem deutlich weniger "lichtdurchflutet", als man meinen könnte. Fast duster. Einige Kleinigkeiten sind reparaturbedürftig (Licht, Spülabzug am WC). Einige Dinge fehlen (Küchenausstattung). Das Doppelbett ist ziemlich durchgelegen. Grenzwertig ist der Schimnelbefall im Bad. Allergiker könnten es nicht nutzen, wir haben darüber hinweg geschaut.
Die Wohnung ist insgesamt etwas "muffig", was wohl auch an der Art der Beheizung liegt. Heizung, Herd, Heisswasser ... alles über Strom. Obwohl wir Ende September nur am Abend moderat geheizt haben und ansonsten sehr auf den Verbrauch geachtet haben, waren nach 2 Wochen über 150,- € Stromkosten angefallen. Das ist ja schon erheblich und bemerkenswert

Fazit: Ort mit Charme, aber (aktuell) ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht in Ordnung. Würde das Potential der Wohnung (wieder?) voll ausgeschöpft werden, würden wir zu einem fairen Preis wieder kommen.
