Holiday destination
The quiet holiday resort Plèherel Plage is situated on the dune above the ocean with its nice sandy beach, calm water (ideal for kids) and tranquil bays. You can find more beautiful beaches in the near vicinity. A 'hot spot' for surfers and bodyboarders. The beach is never overcrowded, not even during peak season. The village has 3 restaurants and 1 hotel. There's also a bakery (at this point, it is only open during peak season, though). Les Sables d'Or is close by and has more dining facilities and a good supermarket, a sailing school and entertainment for kids (bouncy castle, carousel, etc.). Cap Fréhel, a bird sanctuary and one of the most spectacular regions in France, is approx. 8 km away and the old lighthouse, coastal cliff (80m) and the heath are also worth a visit. The region is perfect for hiking, cycling, etc., and most of all for relaxing. Recommended are excursions to the nearby Fort La Latte, the corsair-town Saint-Malo or Dinan with the Château de Dinan (castle), surrounded by a 3 km-long city wall dating back to the 14th century.

Wir sitzen gerade während der Coronakrise bei Cidre und Buchweizengalettes zuhause und erinnern uns an unseren letztjährigen Urlaub in diesem traumhaften Ferienhaus. Nach spannenden Ausflügen in der Umgebung und schönen Stunden am atemberaubenden Strand, haben wir die toll ausgestattete Küche genutzt und ruhige Stunden im Hof oder Garten verbracht. Unsere Kinder waren von all den Spielsachen so begeistert, dass es nur schwer möglich war, sie zu neuen Ausflügen zu überreden. Absolute Empfehlung! Wie aus dem Bilderbuch!

Wir waren schon oft in der Bretagne, ein so schönes Haus hatten wir noch nie... Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Helle, freundliche, sympathisch eingerichtete Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten, eine Wohnküche, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Die vielen Kochbücher über die französische Küche haben uns sehr inspiriert. Nach dem Kochen wurde auf einer der großen, windgeschützten Terrassen gespeist. In diesem Zusammenhang sei auch das kleine Restaurant auf dem Weg zum nahen Strand empfohlen. In diesem Jahr lag unser Fokus einfach auf Entspannung, d.h. wir haben es uns am Strand und im Garten unseres Ferienhauses gut gehen lassen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der freundliche Kontakt zur Vermieterin, da hat alles gut funktioniert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!
