Holiday destination

Around the holiday house there is a large lawn area to linger and play. Also small walks can be undertaken in the olive grove of the private park. Behind the house is a herb garden, with many good herbs for your kitchen. The guests will be provided with a private car park within the estate, and on arrival you will receive a welcome basket with various Italian specialties from the Castelli Romani area.

Getting there

The holiday apartment of Villa Stauder is located in the countryside of Genzano, in the area of the Castelli Romani, and is easily reachable from the nearby airport Roma - Ciampino (15 Km), but also from the second airport of Rome (Roma - Fiumicino). From the highway, head towards the outskirts of Rome of Albano and Ariccia and Genzano di Roma for about 15 km. From Genzano, take Via Monte Giove towards the sea. After one km you will come to Via Montegiovetti and turn left. Then keep right and you will reach a private street called "Via dei Villini". At the end of this street you are at the Villa Stauder holiday home.

Very close to Villa Stauder is the village of Genzano di Roma with the shopping centers and the lake. You can easily reach Rome by train in about 22 minutes (the train station with a large car park is 7 km from Villa). We wish you happy holidays in the Castelli Romani, near Rome. Die Wohnung ist kleiner als auf den Bildern gezeigt, aber sehr gemütlich und hochwertig eingerichtet, mit einer sympathischen Mischung aus Antiquitäten und IKEA-Möbeln. Die Matratzen sind neuwertig , alle Geräte funktionieren hervorragend, es gibt reichlich Stauraum für das Gepäck und alles ist herrlich sauber. Der riesige Garten rund um das Haus ist einfach nur ein Traum, der Blick auf das Meer ist grandios. Der Vermieter stammt aus der Schweiz und spricht fließend deutsch, seine Frau spricht fließend englisch. Internetverbindung ist recht schwach, so dass die Wohnung für Homeoffice nicht geeignet ist. Die Betten sind in den in Italien üblichen Laken bezogen. Klimaanlage oder Heizung ist nicht vorhanden, jedoch gibt es zwei große mobile Ventilatoren, so dass es uns auch im August nicht zu heiß war.
