Holiday destination
In the scenic and safe southeast, 12 km from the southern tip with its salt flats, you'll find an authentic Palmerian life without the tourist crowds. The originality has been preserved.
There's a great diversity of plants, nothing is covered by mounds of ash.
In 15 to 20 minutes, you can reach the capital as well as the southern tip of the island with the Teneguia and Antonio volcanoes. The 12 km distant beach Los Cancajos is a safe swimming bay protected by breakwaters from the treacherous currents and waves of the Atlantic.
The small local beach Playa Salemera with its well-known fish restaurant can be reached in about 10 minutes by car.
The finca is the ideal place for those seeking rest and relaxation; apart from the rustling of the wind and the chirping of birds, there is nothing to be heard. No noise, no streets, no cars – just you, the stars, and the sea.

Host informationMy name is Hanne, I am a painter and live with my husband in southern Germany. We bought the finca on La Palma at the end of 2014 to spend part of the year there whenever we have time, in a very special environment. It is our private house where we live and work.
We would like to share our home with other vacationers, a house wants to be lived in.

Liebe Hanne, lieber Bernd,wir konnten in eurer urgemütlichen und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Finca eine sehr erholsame und entspannte Woche verbringen. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Alles ist mit viel Geschmack und feinem Gespür für die traditionelle Einrichtungskultur in Kombination mit modernen Elementen passend eingerichtet. Vor allem dein Bild mit den Birken hat es mir angetan, Hanne. Meine absoluten Lieblingsbäume. Es ist absolut zu sehen, dass eine Künstlerin versucht hat das Beste aus dem Haus heraus zu holen.
In eurem Haus und auch im Garten gibt es so viele lauschige Plätzchen, in denen man einfach die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Hinter jeder Ecke verbirgt sich etwas Schönes. Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten den Alltag hinter uns lassen. Vielen Dank dafür.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub. Die Finca ist außergewöhnlich und sehr schön eingerichtet. Auch die windgeschützte Terrasse und der Garten sind ein Traum (Sonnenplatz, Hängematte,...). Avocados, Äpfel, Zitronen und Nisperos konnten wir ernten und verspeisen.
Sehr ruhige Lage am Hang (in ca. 500 m Höhe) mit Blick auf das Meer (und bei guter Sicht auf den Teide).
Auto/Mietwagen zum Einkaufen sowie Ausflüge zum Strand/Wanderungen erforderlich.
Sehr netter Kontakt sowohl mit der Vermieterin als auch dem Verwalter vor Ort.
