Host informationThis beautiful place is very Covid safe. T he Mills and House are far apart. Outiside there is lots of space in the 4 ha. Both Allan and Margaret have had the Pfizer vaccins. Allan and I moved to la Couscouillette permanently in 1988. Our love of the Languedoc, and La Couscouillette in particular, made us into taking the plunge. At first Allan continued his work as a University Physics Professor, I am a Clinical Psychologist. We love sharing the magic of La Couscouillette with our guests who adore the tranquility and beautiful views as well as our animals.

Wir blicken zurück auf zwei unvergleichliche Wochen an einem besonderen Ort. Wohnen in einer mittelalterlichen Mühle, Baden in einem beheizten Pool auf einem riesigen Gelände, die Aussicht auf die hügelige Weingegend und der freundliche und diskrete support der Gastgeber... einmalig. Wir konnten die Zeit sehr genießen.

Das Grundstück ist riesig und es gibt viele verschiedene Orte an die man sich zurückziehen kann. Der Garten ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet mit viel Schatten, Rosen etc. Die Vermieter sind super nett und tun alles dafür, dass jeder nächste Tag noch schöner wird. Highlights waren der Pool, Tennisplatz, lokale Märkte (Montlaur, Gruissan, Carcasson) und Narbonne Plage. Der Pool ist mit Salzwasser und beheizt, man will kaum noch ans Meer. Der Tennisplatz ist etwas uneben, aber Alan glättet ihn regelmäßig (einfach top - Danke) und der Ausblick ist einmalig. In Montlaur gibt es einen Supermarkt mit allem was man braucht (incl. frisches Baguettes und Croissant). Tipp für die Fahrt: Über Trebes und die D3 zu fahren. Die D114 ist eher ein Alptraum. Insgesamt ein einmaliger Urlaub und wir vermissen den süßen William.
