Here, in a pristine hilly landscape amidst castle ruins, a rich variety of fauna and flora thrives.
While the North Vosges Regional Nature Park is predominantly mountainous, the flat floodplain landscape of Ried stretches out near the Rhine.

Unsere Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Ein schönes, modernes, sehr sauberes und komplett ausgestattetes Haus ließ keine Wünsche offen. Dazu noch eine sehr freundliche Vermieterin, die das Häuschen weihnachtlich geschmückt hatte, was will man mehr ? Die Ruhe war fast schon unwirklich für uns lärmgeplagte Städter. Nur ein paar Black Belted Galloways als Nachbarn, dessen Anblick sehr beruhigend und fast schon meditativ war. Wirklich wunderschöne und tolle Tiere. Es gibt super Wandermöglichkeiten direkt ab Haus zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Burgruinen. Im Wald begegneten wir kaum jemanden. Im Sommer kann man zudem die großzügige Terasse benutzen. Jaja, die Nordvogesen haben schon was und wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn sich die Gelegenheit ergibt.

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles ist da und es ist alles sehr sauber. Wunderschöner Umschwung.
Wer die Natur liebt ist hier am richtigen Ort. Für erholsame Ferien, wunderschöne Spaziergänge, Fahrradtouren oder Ausflüge. Es hat viele Möglichkeiten. Natur pur, gute Luft, es gibt viel zu entdecken! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frau Jond ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin
