We are aware that the reasons for a cancellation are often unpleasant or even due to sad news. That is why we specified the following moderate regulations for cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to arrival:
If you cancel your booking up to 6 weeks prior to arrival, you will receive a full -100%- refund minus EUR 50.00 processing fee.
If you cancel up to 3 weeks prior to arrival, we'll refund 50% of the booking price.
It is urgently recommended to take out a travel cancellation insurance.

Holiday destination
Holiday home Hohenraunau is located in the central Swabian village Hohenraunau, which has only 269 residents. It lies nestled on the southern slope of a hill between the Kammeltal valley and the valley with the 'Krumbächle' (a tributary), amidst scenic green forests, gentle hills, vast meadow valleys and baroque onion domes.
The town Krumbach/Schwaben is the heart of the Swabian Baroque Region and only 4 km away, while the Legoland in Günzburg can be reached by car within 30 minutes.
Getting there
Travelling from the direction of Stuttgart on the A8: at the motorway junction Ulm-Elchingen you'll want to take the A7 towards Kempten, exit Weißenhorn, then follow the road to Krumbach and Hohenraunau.
Travelling from the direction of Munich on the A96, take the exit Mindelheim, then the B16 to Niederraunau, where you turn onto the road leading to Hohenraunau.
Travelling from Würzburg on the A7 towards Kempten, exit Weißenhorn; follow the road to Krumbach and Hohenraunau.
Travelling from the direction of Nuremberg on the A8, exit Günzburg; continue on the B16 to Krumbach and Hohenraunau.

A true dream project: Converting a farmhouse with barn into a holiday home with space for 3 families - in Bavaria. And we ended up buying the holiday home! So we must have planned and done something right, given the fact that we still like it...

Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen tatsächlich übertroffen. Im Haus wurde alte Substanz bewahrt und Neues stilvoll hinzugefügt. Es bietet viel Platz und hat alle Ausstattung, die man braucht. Auch in der großen Küche. Wunderbar ist der riesige Tisch innen, der problemlos Platz für alle bietet (und noch Reserven hat). Auch der Außentisch ist ausreichend. Die Kinder waren vom Spielzimmer begeistert und haben dort auch geschlafen.
Eine Wucht ist der Außenbereich mit der großen Wiese, die Platz für Spiele, zum Sitzen im Schatten und in der Sonne sowie für Feuer und Grillen bietet.
Wir waren 9 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder (4-8 Jahre). Die Enkelin (6), die sonst schon mal den Daumen nach unten dreht, hat extra gesagt, dass ich dem Haus 5 Sterne geben muss.
Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. 100% Empfehlung

Ich habe meinen 70. Geburtstag mit meiner Familie (Kinder und Enkelkinder) und meinen besten Freundinnen im Haus Hohenraunau gefeiert. Für uns war es der ideale Standort zwischen den Wohnorten der Gäste.
Da wir bei 3 Tagen regnerischem und kaltem Wetter, die meiste Zeit im Haus verbringen mussten, war die Stimmung aber bestens.
Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, an alles was man benötigt ist gedacht, selbst neue Zahnbürsten waren vorhanden :-).
Der besondere Reiz lag aber an der hochwertigen Einrichtung und der räumlichen Aufteilung, die 4 Enkelkinder ( 5 - 11 Jahre) haben die vorhandenen Spielmöglichkeiten ausgibig genutzt, so dass die Erwachsenen auch Zeit hatten sich auszutauschen.
Ich kann dieses Haus für solche Anlässe nur empfehlen und werde es sicher noch einmal im Sommer mit meiner Familie mieten.
