Holiday destination

At the foot of the dunes lies Sint Maartenszee. This seaside resort is, of course, known for its wide sandy beaches; but did you know that just around the corner, a unique little nature reserve is hidden? Not far from the dunes, you will find the nature reserve Het Wildrijk, where you can walk over a blue carpet of hyacinths. What's exceptional is that the water level in the nature reserve is controlled by the Duinrellen project. The water comes directly from the dunes through a so-called clean water ditch!
