The villa offers a swimming pool, a large 6-seat Jacuzzi, garden, and an incredible view of the Ligurian sea.
Located 50 meters above sea level, and only 5 minutes by car from the beach, the villa is surrounded by olive trees, flowers and plants, creating a typical Mediterranean garden.
The pool, with panoramic sea-view, is on the garden plateau (in Northern Italy, “il Poggiolo” means “the balcony”).
“Villa il Poggiolo” is perfect for your Italian holidays: sun, swimming, sunbathing, relax and fun with family and friends.
LOCATION: Italy, Liguria region.
• Italian “Riviera dei Fiori” = riviera of flowers: our delightful summer climate and mild winters makes of Diano Marina an ideal holiday destination all year long.
• The villa is slightly on a hill, in an area called “Monade”, one of the most renowned areas of Diano Marina, with an outstanding sea-view over the Gulf.
• The property faces south and is embraced by the sun all day long.
• Very quiet area, without traffic.

Diano Marina is a tourist village becoming popular during the 1800’s as a seaside resort and it is visited by tourists from all over the Europe.
The climate of Western Ligurian Riviera, is famous for being delightful in the summer and mild in the winter. This makes Diano Marina an ideal destination for holidays throughout the year.
All along the coast there are sandy beaches, with nice beach establishments.
It's also a good starting point to visit the surroundings: Cervo, Dolceacqua, Triora, Bussana Vecchia, Lingueglietta, Apricale, and many more villages in the inland.

“Villa il Poggiolo” was my parents dream come true home.
With my parents passing, and my life taking me in different directions I decided to transform it into a “Holiday Home” acting as a host to worldwide guests.
This little corner of the world has always felt special to me, almost magical. It’s a place that has a strong positive energy. The surrounding green area, the aromas of the pines and olives, and the gentle breezes coming from the deep blue sea. If you stretch out your arm, you’ll feel like you could touch it. The sun embracing it all day long from sunrise to sunset…
For this reason I felt that a “normal holiday home” which I interpret as, a simple place to stay for a week with a few beds and a kitchen, was not enough for me. My dream was to create for my guests a unique experience which would be unforgettable. To make it memorable, and recreate unforgettable and magical it would have to have a strong personality and spirit.

What a perfect location in Bella Italia! We had a great stay in Diano Marina. The villa offers everything you need for a perfect vacation. We were very impressed by the VIP suite. But we were also impressed by the pool and the beautiful and breathtaking sea view etc. The pictures cannot show the real beauty of Villa il Poggiolo. We love this place and we will come back as soon as possible! Special thanks to Mauro und Stefano to be the perfect hosts!

Die Villa Il Poggiolo hält tatsächlich alles, was sie verspricht. Es war genug Platz für 10 Leute. Die Küche, Wohnzimmer und Schlafräume waren sehr geräumig und wir hatten besonders große Freude an der Außenanlage. Der Jacuzzi war das absolute Highlight. Die Vermieter sind super zuvorkommend und haben uns sogar geholfen in einem Restaurant einen Tisch für über 20 Leute zu reservieren (die Restaurant-Betreiber konnten kein englisch). Absolut empfehlenswert!
