Cancellation policy

From the initial payment until 6 weeks before arrival no cancellation fee is required. A cancellation fee is required only of some - 20% from 6 to 4 weeks, - 50% from 2 weeks, - 75% form 7 days and - 100% 1 day before arrival. The significant cancellation time is the date of receipt of the cancellation at the hirer. Dear guests, book with peace of mind: In the event of a travel warning, a marking as a risk area, an accommodation ban or a perimeter ban for your county or the county of our holiday property for your booking period in connection with the corona virus, we offer you a free cancellation of your booking! Please inform us immediately after you have become aware of this. Our contact details can be found in your booking confirmation. All other cancellation conditions for our property remain unaffected. Decisive for the time of withdrawal is the receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by the landlord. It is recommended to take out travel cancellation/cancellation insurance. Please make sure that this also contains a clause for illnesses from Corona. The holiday accommodation is a „Non-Smoking House“. If it can be proven that smoking was done in the apartment despite the smoking ban, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of up to 150, - €.

Holiday destination

The newly renovated half-timbered house with comfortable furnishings is located on the sunny south-east slope in a quiet location above the center of the health resort Neuastenberg with direct, stunning views of the "Sauerland nature". Here you can sunbathe in peace, forget the everyday worries and relax in the swimming pool and the sauna area. In winter you can ski or toboggan runs directly from the house into attractive Postwiesen-ski.

Getting there

The Gerkenstein (790m) is the southwestern secondary summit of the Kahler Asten (841 m), the landmark of the Rothaargebirge. The village of Neuastenberg lies on its southern slope directly at the Hochsauerland top level roads (B 236 and B 480). In Neuastenberg, from Winterberg coming on the left, or alternatively from of Bad Berleburg and Schmallenberg coming on the right, turning into the Dorfstrasse the Parking Garage is located after some 100m (Alternatively you can park at first on the main road). You will reach the Holiday park (Dorint Hotel) in some 50 meter.

Ich (13) war mit meinen Großeltern und meiner Tante in der Ferienwohnung in Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist schön und wurde neu eingerichtet. Die neue Einrichtung gefällt uns sehr gut. Die Betten und auch die Couch sind sehr bequem. Wir waren zu viert hier und es war für alle genug Platz. Es ist groß genug, dass jeder Mal Zeit für sich hat, aber auch nicht zu groß. Man kann das Schwimmbad des Dorint Hotels nutzen, was uns sehr gut gefiel. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr schön. Man kann sowohl kleine, als auch große Wanderung machen, Parks besuchen, oder schnell in die Stadt fahren. Uns gefiel das Haus insgesamt sehr gut. Meine Großeltern waren schon vier Mal hier, ich erst zwei Mal, aber es ist immer noch sehr schön. Im Gegenteil, wir wollen noch öfter her kommen. Wir können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Super!
