Other recreational opportunities
Paddling on the lake and the River Havel in a kayak. Golfing at the Semlin golf course only 4 km away. Observe the stars in the “Westhavelland Star Park”. For other events, see Internet. Hiking along the lake – on the dike in the direction of Wassersuppe … small village in Havelland on Lake Hohennauen.
Holiday destination
We are in the nature park and Westhavelland star part. Discover the Gülper See – a veritable bird paradise. Use the many adjoining cycle path networks. Potsdam and Berlin can be easily reached by car or train. The Elbe town of Tangermünde – featuring beautiful half-timbered houses – is also worth a visit. There are two inns in the village and a highly recommended restaurant by the lake. The bakery in the village offers breakfast daily (from 7:00 a.m.).
Getting there
Hohennauen is a district of the municipality of Seeblick, and the closest city of Rathenow, which is about 6 km away. The beach is only a 15-minute walk away. There, you will find a nice beach café and restaurant. There are well-developed cycle paths that start right in front of the apartments. Our holiday farm is on the outskirts of the village – but still central. You have a great view over the fields and can find peace from the stress of everyday life.
