Holiday destination

The town Portocristo offers lots of small beaches and coves, as well as a huge variety of restaurants, bars and shops. You will find a safari and several playgrounds for children. The nearby caves "Cuevas del Drach", in Porto Cristo, are one of the island's most outstanding tourist attractions, extending for almost 1200 m and including internal heights of 25 m above the cave floor. Hidden within the caves is Lake Martel, considered to be one of the largest subterranean lakes in the world. The 1,2 km tour takes around one hour and includes a classical music concert and a boat trip on the lake. Nearby you will find villages as Son Servera and Capdepera, which is characterized by its medieval castle. The area is great for golfing, tennis or paddle: the golf courses of Son Servera, Pula, Canyamel, Capdepera and Rotana are all within 20 km and there are different tennis and paddle clubs. Cyclists and hikers can also find there passion, with several beautiful routes, like the hermitage of Artà or the lighthouse of Cala Rajada.
