There are also other wonderful environments around the Wadden Sea, such as dunes, salt flats, marshes and sand banks which are part of the protective zones.
Ecosystem: The large variety of the Wadden Sea area is unique, with nearly 10,000 types. The salt flats are home to nearly 2300 types of plants and animals, and the marine and brackish water zones have 2700 other types.
Mammals include seals, grey seals and porpoises. In the mud flats you can find mussels, crabs, threadworms and planarians. The mud flats are the spawning grounds of sea fish such as plaice and sole. The large variety of foods here make the Wadden Sea crucial as a stop for migrating birds.
Holiday destination
The holiday apartment is located in one of the oldest settlements St. Peters in a new build area with a large terrace with sand garden/dunes.
Town centre, shopping and the beach are all within easy reach.
Directly nearby are the West Coast Park, a restaurant, bus stops and the train station. The Dorf neighbourhood can be reached on foot and in the main season there are many events as well as restaurants, cafe, bistro and shops, and you'll find other ones in Bad.

The Böhl area near the nature reserve West Coast Park
Via the Wittdüner Allee before entering town turn right into the Bövergeest.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit besonderem Sandgarten, antiken Möbeln und kleinen Extras. Herzlicher Empfang durch die Vermieter, auch unser Hund war sehr gerne willkommen. Die Lage ist super, der Ortskern von St. Peter-Dorf und der Deich auch zu Fuß mit einem Spaziergang gut erreichbar. Wir hatten tolle Tage und würden wiederkommen!
