Cancellation policy

Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter or e-mail to the agency. a) If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival on the premises: the deposit remains the property of the owner. If the accommodation could be re-rented at the same price, the deposit is returned to the tenant, minus the fee for the booking. b) If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the planned date of entry into the premises, the deposit and the balance of the rent remain acquired to the owner. If the accommodation could be re-let at the same price, the deposit and the balance are returned to the tenant, less the fee for the booking. c) If the tenant does not show up within 48 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes null and void and the owner can dispose of the accommodation. The price of the rental remains the property of the owner. d) If the stay is shortened, the price of the rental remains the property of the owner. There will be no refund, even partial.

The holiday home is situated in a quiet area between the heart of the village with many shopping facilities (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, doctor) and the sea where you can relax. Varengeville-sur-Mer has always been and still is visited by famous artists. Cliffs, sunken paths, flowers, trees, flat land, the sea and the sky create a magical place. Shimmering nature and well-preserved culture: the church of St. Valery and the naval cemetery, as well as the Bois des Moutiers.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt ruhig in einer Sackgasse gelegen. Der Ortskern mit Bäcker, Metzger, kleiner Supermarkt, Restaurant ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Sehr schönes kleines verträumtes Städtchen. Wir waren zu 2 Erwachsenen mit Hund dort. Dafür ist der Platz völlig ausreichend. Im OG gibt es noch drei große Betten, wo auch Erwachsene gut drin schlafen könnten. Jedoch reicht dann Couch- bzw. Sesselplatz nicht für 5 Erwachsene. Zum Haus gehört ein schöner eingezäunter Garten. Eigentlich hat es uns fast an nichts gefehlt. Nur ein Stern Abzug bei der Ausstattung, weil ein paar mehr stabile Kleiderbügel im Schrank und eine Garderobe oder Wandhaken fehlten. Außerdem sollte der Abfluss in der Dusche gereinigt werden. Er lief nicht gut ab. Dies nur ein paar Tipps, damit es perfekt wird.

Wir wurden sehr nett von Frau van Roy empfangen. Die Schlüssel und Info Material waren vorbereitet. Das Haus war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse. Der kürzeste Fußweg zum Strand führt durch das Dorf und ist in etwa 15-20 min erreichbar. Unser Heizungsausfall (warmes Wasser) am Wochenende wurde schnellstens innerhalb von zwei Tagen behoben. Für die Hunde war der eingezäumte Garten ein Paradies. Tipp: der Wäscheständer könnte erneuert werden, da er sehr wackelig ist. Und saubere Sitzkissen für draußen wären schön. Ansonsten DANKE für einen unbeschwerten Urlaub.
