Our apartment offers
a spacious hallway with cloakroom, closet for supplies (e.g. light bulbs, toilet paper, vacuum cleaner, shoe shine, and sewing kit ), and a “maxi-bar" (as a counterpart to a hotel mini-bar)
Both bedrooms have double beds (200×220 and 180×200), oversized duvets (155×220), shelves and chest of drawers, wardrobes; there is also a travel cot and a sleeper chair that can be used for a child
The brand new bathroom features a walk-in shower, vanity, toilet, and plenty of mirrors
You will also find washer and dryer.
The large living room has couches, panoramic windows facing the garden, and in the new kitchen you will find a dinner table allowing you to sit comfortably.

The Altenbochum neighbourhood lies right at the heart of what is known as the "Ruhrpott", perfect for strolls and journeys of discovery of old industrial routes, inner cities, and also a lot of green spaces along the Ruhr River.
It is much nicer here than you would imagine!!

The "Unerwartet-Bochum" holiday flat is approx. 3 km from the city centre of Altenbochum.
Buses and trains are within walking distance, and so are countless shops such as bakeries, supermarkets etc., and a range of restaurants (German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese).
The ramps to the A40, A43, A44 are approx. 3 km away.
From here you can easily reach the surrounding cities, such as Dortmund,Essen or even Düsseldorf. Several universities and trade fair premises are within easy reach.
Bochum itself has the Jahrhunderthalle, the Star Light musical, a quirky inner city with its famous and infamous nightlife (Bermuda3eck) and more also the museum of mining, a planetarium, and the Ruhrpark-Einkaufszentrum (shopping centre).
