Die Einfahrt zu Ihrem Hideway ist steil, führt durch die Bananenplantage bis zum Haus, wo Sie direkt parken können. Der Besitzer der wunderbaren Villa trifft Sie in Madalena und ist mit Anreise behilflich. Zum Supermarkt, Restaurants und Sandstrand in Calheta sind es ca. 3 Kilometer. Für diese kleine Abgeschiedenheit werden Sie aber mit einem kleinem versteckten Paradies belohnt.

Getting there
Funchal Airport, then expressway towards Ponta do Sol, Maalena, Calheta - easy relaxed arrival to the meeting point where the owner of the house will be waiting and take you to the house. Last 500 meters steeply down through a banana plantation (owner is always helpful).

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus weit abseits vom Touristentrubel, inmitten von Bananenplantagen. Traumhafter Blick auf den Atlantik inkl. der Sonnenuntergänge.
Etwas schwierig war die abenteuerliche Anfahrt zum Haus, bei der man beim Mietwagen auf ausreichende Motorisierung achten muß. Unseren Fiat Panda haben wir am selben Tag am Flughafen wieder getauscht...
Mehrere Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Auch Restaurants gibt es in der näheren Umgebung (Auto) in ausreichender Zahl. Wir (meine Frau) haben fast ausschliesslich die sehr gut eingerichtete Küche genutzt. Der Service vor Ort war freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Für Urlauber, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen der richtige Ort. Mit dem Auto kann man die Insel in einem halben Tag umrunden.
Wir fahren bestimmt noch einmal hin.

Geräumige, gut ausgestattete Villa in idyllischer Lage umgeben von Bananen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt, die ruhige Lage war himmlisch. Restaurants und Supermarkt sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Der Pool war eine echte Berreicherung - nicht nur für die Kinder! Nette und kompetente Betreuung vor und während der Reise!
