Holiday destination
Zorge is located in the far southeast of Lower Saxony in the district Osterode (not far from the more well-known holidays places Bad Sachsa, Bad Lauterberg and Braunlage, approx. 45-60 min. to Goslar or Wernigerode) in a calm forest valley. A trip with the historical steam railway for breaking, monastery ruin in Walkenried, world cultural heritage Rammelsberg (mine museum) and the beautiful historical framework old town Goslar, falcon yard Bad Sachsa, or more seriously: Lager Dora in Nordhausen (KZ-branch office), borderland museum Tettenborn,… innumerable enterprises are possible from here. In bad weather you visit a cave or a mine, or spend a Wellness day or an active day in the Fun Public Pool in Bad Sachsa in the Salztalparadies.

Diese Ferienwohnung von Frau Wolf kann ich nur empfehlen, sie ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, nichts hat gefehlt, und man fühlt sich vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohl. Wir hatten meine Schäferhündin dabei, und ich denke, ich spreche diesbezüglich auch für sie ;-).
Die schönsten Ausflugsziele sind unter eine Stunde Autofahrt zu erreichen :
Der Brocken (ab Bahnhof Schierke zu Fuß hoch und runter), Klosterruine Walkenried, Rappbodetalsperre mit Hängebrücke, über die wir natürlich gegangen sind, Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, die Teufelsmauer, Grenzkontrollweg ab Hohe Geiß, Stolberg, viele Orte entlang der Selketalbahn und Vieles andere. Und wir hatten das Glück, dass uns während unsrer gesamten Woche die Sonne begleitet hat.

Kurz vor der zweiten Corona-Welle, als "es" noch ging, machten wir noch einmal eine Woche Urlaub und sind immer noch froh, dass es geklappt hat. Wir zehren noch davon. Auch wenn das Wetter jahreszeitgerecht verregnet war, war es eine Woche Erholung in einer Wohnung, die keine Wünsche offenließ. Insbesondere auch die vielen leckeren Äpfel, die wir mitnehmen konnten und die bei unseren Nachbarn begeisterten Anklang fanden.
Vielen Dank noch einmal für Wohnung, Erholung und Äpfel. Ganz sicher kommen wir gerne noch einmal, wenn diese schreckliche Covid19-Seuche nicht mehr unser Leben dominiert. Einstweilen wünschen wir: Bleiben sie gesund!!!!
