Holiday destination
Pitsidia is located on the central south coast of Crete and is about 65 km, an hour drive away from Heraklion Airport. The village is ideally situated to explore the world famous area attractions, such as the ancient palace of Phaistos and the archaeological site of Gortyna and Agia Triada, the Monastery "Moni Odigitria" and of course the beautiful beaches of Matala, Red Beach, Komos , Agiofarago, Ag.Pavlos, Tripiti, Preveli, etc. also, the museum in Vori is quickly reached.You will find in the Village Minimarkets, Baker's Shop, Restaurants,Cafe, Butcher, Horseridefarm and Car/Bike Rental.
The wonderful sandy beach Komo is reached in ca. 15 minutes on foot or 3 min. by car.
On the village square, there are in summertime some events with live music. These evenings have a great atmosphere. Wonderful hiking possibilities are in the surrounding area and beautiful gorges.
Getting there
Your destination airport should be Heraklion as it is only one hour and15 minutes from Pitsidia and you can easily reach your holiday home by taxi, bus or car. I can also help you with a rental car reservation or order a local taxi to the airport so that you can relax while driving.

Unsere Zeit in der Villa Efrossini war einfach nur wunderbar! Schon vor der Anreise kümmerte sich Bärbel um einen reibungslosen Start. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von ihr und ihrem Sohn Fani empfangen und ganz unkompliziert mit der tollen Villa vertraut gemacht.
Ganz herzlichen Dank an Euch, für Eure freundliche, entspannte Hilfsbereitschaft - sie hat sehr viel dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben!
Die Villa ist ein wunderschönes Haus, ausgestattet mit allem, was man brauchen könnte und in dem man jeden Tag ein neues tolles Detail entdecken kann. Es hat bei allem Komfort, Charakter und eine sehr persönliche Ausstrahlung. Die Lage ist traumhaft, mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer und ganz viel Natur. Es gibt soviel Lieblingsplätze zum Entspannen und Genießen.

Wir, vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder, verbrachten zehn Tage in der Villa Efrossini. Es ist ein wundervolles Haus, sehr stilvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet, mit schönem Garten und Meerblick. Die vielen Sitz- und Liegeplätze im Außenbereich und auf den beiden Terrassen sorgen dafür, dass jeder sein ideales Plätzchen findet. Die Aussicht ist immer grandios. Unsere Enkelkinder (8 und 11) nutzten begeistert den Pool. Für eine hervorragende Betreuung vor Ort sorgte Bärbel, sie stand mit Rat und Tat und viel Herzlichkeit immer bereit. Die Villa ist günstig gelegen, in 5 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß Apotheke, Supermarkt, Bäckerei, Geldautomaten und Restaurants, zum Komo-Strand läuft man eine halbe Stunde. Herzlichen Dank an Bärbel und Familie Stöffel sowie an Manolis, der diese wunderschöne Villa erschaffen hat.
