Our house is 1.8 km from the centre of Ramsau-Hippach, in a quiet, south-facing location, with a direct view of Ramsau-Hippach-Mayrhofen and the panorama of the Zillertal mountains. The nearest large ski areas such as the Mayrhofner mountain railways and the Zillertal Arena are only 5km away, as is the cross-country ski trail right in Ramsau.
The ski bus stop for Mayrhofen in winter right at our house takes you to the Horbergbahn or Zillertal Arena, each only 5km. The Hintertux Glacier (skiing all year round) is only 20 km away.
