Your accommodation is in a freshly renovated farm, which was first built in 1819 in the half-timbered style. There are three residential units in our house. A permanently rented apartment, the holiday apartment and our own apartment. The accommodation will be rented for the first time from June 1st, 2022 and has been lovingly and thoughtfully furnished in a country house style. The apartment extends over two floors, is very large and spacious with direct access to the associated terrace. On the upper floor is the large, fully equipped dining and cooking area with a small reading corner. A selection of different board games is also available for you. Furthermore, here is the bathroom with shower, bathtub, toilet and washer-dryer and a bedroom with a double bed and a pull-out day bed. A staircase takes you to the attic with the living area and the second bedroom. Bed linen and towels are included in the price as well as an existing travel cot for babies and small children, as well as appropriate toys and a high chair.

Here in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains - in the middle of a wonderful landscape - you can relax. Our small village of Lichtenhein, located between Bad Schandau and Sebnitz, is a great starting point for hikes into the Kirnitzschtal, the front and rear Saxon Switzerland.
Hiking, climbing, cycling or winter sports - there is something for everyone here!
Our newly renovated 200-year-old farm is in a quiet, idyllic and somewhat hidden location right next to the nature reserve. A cozy seating area under a large walnut tree outdoors with a grill, fire bowl and a view of the chickens and rooster invites you to linger.
Our yard of lights is very quiet and somewhat hidden. If you arrive with Google Maps, then we ask you to enter "Ferienwohnung Lichterhof" directly in the search and you will be directed to us on the right path. With other navigation devices, we ask you to enter "Am Anger 4" and drive about 200m further.
Unfortunately, the last part of the way is a bit bumpy. Lowered cars might have trouble.

The Nitsche family - that's Thomas and Cindy with their two daughters (1.4) and two dogs (Magyar Viszla). We bought our farm in 2019 and have since renovated it very conscientiously. It is our concern that you feel comfortable with us and can enjoy a great holiday. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and always look forward to a friendly chat and constructive criticism. Our courtyard of lights is our life project. We want to make sustainability a top priority and try our hand at growing fruit and vegetables based on the principles of permaculture. We are also already working flat out on our own website "derlichterhof.de".
