Winter between "gentle" tourism and skiing fun
The municipality of Sölk lies on the edge of the ski areas Schladming-Dachstein. From St. Nikolai, you can reach the ski region Ski amadé with 230 kilometers of slopes and 81 modern lift facilities in just 40 km.

Only 100 meters from your vacation home, you can access an extensive cross-country skiing network. For kids and beginner skiers, there is a local tow lift. Strap on your touring skis right outside your door and explore the path, for example, to the Hansnhütte. The region is known for the approximately 20 varied ski tours.
The next larger ski area is at Galsterberg with 12 kilometers of slopes, 2 fun slopes, and a children's area. The illuminated natural toboggan run will make every heart race.
Tip: A popular excursion destination is the Großsölk Castle, which dates back to the Middle Ages. Today it houses the Nature Park House with a nature park laboratory and is the venue for various exhibitions.
