Malvasía Apartment – Small but fine!
Welcome to Malvasía Apartment! Our holiday apartment, located near the village center on the edge of the forest of Stumm on the sunny side of the Zillertal, is an ideal starting point for numerous winter sports activities as well as for a short "summer getaway" or an autumn vacation with mountain tours and hikes in the magnificent Zillertal mountain world.
FacilitiesTwo bedrooms and a living or dining room with a sofa bed accommodate up to 5 people and offer ideal lodging especially for families. The apartment has a separate house entrance and is equipped with storage room, free parking spaces, and WLAN. The kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and espresso machine has a small seating area for 2-3 early risers, while the living or dining room comfortably accommodates 6 people. It also features a TV with satellite reception. The bathroom with WC is equipped with a shower cubicle, a bidet, and a urinal. Bed linen, hairdryer, hand and kitchen towels, as well as dishwashing and cleaning supplies are provided, along with the utensils for a summer barbecue evening in the garden or on the wooden terrace. Self-caterers will find a bakery, a butcher, a small supermarket, as well as restaurants and cafés with patisseries just a few minutes' walk away.
What does Stumm and its surroundings offer? In summerStumm is known for its traditional Tyrolean inns and restaurants, some of which have award-winning cuisine, as well as for the cultural festival that regularly takes place in summer, featuring a colorful program of theater, music, and cabaret. For mountain enthusiasts, hikes or mountain tours in the immediate area or throughout the valley are available, and just a few steps from your front door, you can start your tour to Stumm's local mountain, the Hamberg, on the forest path. A trip on the Zillertal high road is also a must; it offers a fantastic view of the local mountain world. Alternatively, you can take a hike or biking tour in the idyllic untouched Märzengrund. A refreshing visit to the outdoor swimming pool in Stumm, about 300 meters away, or the fun at the Erlebnistherme Zillertal in Fügen (about 8 km), which is also open in winter and offers giant water slides, wave pool, and a wellness area for entertainment and relaxation for the whole family, is a great option. Furthermore, you can go fishing or just relax at the "Bochra Lake" in Stumm (www.bochra-see.at). For fun not just for children, the Alpine roller coaster "Arena Coaster" in Zell am Ziller is a great attraction. Golf lovers as well as professionals will be thrilled by the 18-hole golf course in the nearby Uderns (5 km) with over 65 hectares of land.
In winterThe Zillertal with its four large ski areas, around 180 ski lifts, cozy ski huts, and numerous ski schools for adults and children offers great skiing fun for the whole family, from beginners to freeriders. The free ski bus, which you can reach in just a few minutes' walk from your accommodation, takes you from Stumm to the spacious Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area, about two kilometers away. The Zillertal Arena in Zell, on the other hand, can be reached by public bus or by car after 6.7 kilometers. Alternatively, you can relax while ice skating, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, on guided ski and snowshoe hikes, on romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides, and much more.
