Description

Podere Altavista is situated in an unspoiled rural setting between the mountain villages of Montescudaio and Guardistallo, east of Cecina. The secluded house has a large garden with garden furniture, a covered dining area, barbecue, swimming pool 12 x 6m, and a wide view of the Tuscan landscape all the way to the sea. The house, garden, and pool are for the exclusive use of the holiday guests.

Special features

In the lower floor of the house, from mid-May to mid-September, you can additionally rent a separate "studio apartment". This apartment is not rented out individually but is exclusively offered to tenants of Podere Altavisat. The apartment consists of a large living area with a kitchenette, a sofa bed, a dining table, and a separate bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet.

Eine Katastrophe die im Horror endete

Angereist mit 5 erwachsene und zwei Kinder - bei der Anfahrt eine schlimme Zufahrt - ein Auto setzte auf - Straße ungenügend! Beim Haus angekommen - Vermieter hatte wohl keine Zeit - das Haus gezeigt nichts erklärt - er wollte sofort das Geld haben - das Haus - sehr dreckig wohl nie sauber gemacht - die Küche ein eine Zumutung daher keine bild vom Vermieter - die Zimmer müffig und sehr sehr alte Möbeln mit decken drüber - einzig schön der Pool auch wenn er nie geprüft worden ist - im Haus nachts über 27 grad - musste 3 Ventilatoren kaufen zum überleben - am vorletzten Tag Mäuse in der Küche,für uns und die Kinder Grund zur vorzeitigen Abreise was der Vermieter garnicht verstehen konnte,die Vermittlerin reagiert nicht auf wichtige Fragen - leider kann ich keine bilder hier zeigen um zu warnen ,sehr schlimm !

Pro: Das Aussengelände des Hauses ist super schön und sehr gepflegt. Der Pool und der Blick aufs Meer ist wirklich toll.
Contra: Die Innenaustattung ist sehr altbacken, im Bad im 1. Stock ist leider Schimmel in den Fugen.
Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist eine absolute Katastrophe. Viele starke Hubel, unser Auto hat immer wieder aufgesetzt, egal wie vorsichtig wie gefahren sind, wir haben wirklich alles versucht aber keine Chance mit einem normalen Auto nicht aufzusetzen. Das hat die Lust auf Ausflüge sehr geschmälert, da wir versucht haben, so wenig wie möglich vom Haus weg zu fahren um Schäden am Auto zu vermeiden. Tja jetzt hoffen wir einfach mir, dass unser Auto keinen Schaden davon getragen hat. Das war wirklich sehr ärgerlich. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir dieses Haus nicht gebucht.

Traditionelles Ferienhaus in den Olivenhainen

Uns hat das Ferienhaus sehr gut gefallen. Es ist zwar etwas altbacken, aber eben traditionell toskanisch. Es ist alles vorhanden, sogar ein Pizzaofen. Vermieter kümmert sich alle 2 Tage um den Pool und schaut nach dem Rechten ohne zu stören. Der Pool ist das Highlight und steigert natürlich die positive Bewertung.

Kleines Mango: die Anfahrt zum Haus. Ich persönlich kenne diese Wege zu den abgelegenen Ferienhäusern, was mich auch nicht weiter stört. Aber die direkte Anfahrt zu dem Haus war katastrophal. Die 3 hinteren Insassen mussten jedes Mal aussteigen, wenn ich hochfuhr, da ich sonst mit meinem Ford Tunier bös aufsetzte. Einmal haben sich die Reifen festgefahren. War also sehr abenteuerlich. Hätte gerne mal gesehen wie ein Einheimischer da rauf kommt. Die haben allerdings meistens so ne Art Jeep.

Das mit der Zufahrt tut mir sehr leid. Ich habe mittlerweile mit dem Eigentümer gesprochen, der einräumt dass der Weg im Moment sehr schlecht ist und er wetterbedingt warten muss um den Weg in Ordnung zu bringen. ( es muss anscheinend erst regnen...)
Für 2022 ist dann eine gute Zufahrt wieder garantiert. Danke für ihre Rückmeldung, ich wusste bisher Nichts von dem Zustand der Strasse , da mir die anderen Gäste keine Rückmeldung gegeben haben.
Dass Ihnen Haus , Pool und Lage ansonsten gefallen haben freut mich.
